Slavery at Monticello
Monticello
The Thomas Jefferson Foundation’s new app, Slavery at Monticello: Life and Work on Mulberry Row, tells the stories of the people who lived and worked at the industrial hub of Thomas Jefferson’s agricultural enterprise. Visitors can explore the physical sites and meet the people who lived and worked on Mulberry Row.
This was my first iOS project done in Swift and Xcode. The addition of iBeacons allowed for a more immersive experience for visitors on site. This project also provided me with good experience using and customizing Apple Maps inside a native application

Featured App
Slavery at Monticello was a featured application in the Apple App store shortly after its release.

iBeacon Technology
The application used iBeacon technology to notify the user of points of interest as they explored the vast grounds at Monticello.
